2,666 Days of Work Completed Without Incident or Injury

ERIE, Pennsylvania – November 20, 2014 – Shop employees at Kane Innovations’ Erie, PA fabrication facility recently reached another major milestone in on-the-job safety practices. The production workers, who fabricate Kane Innovations’ Sterling Dula brand architectural railing, have reached over 2,666 days of no lost time accidents. The phrase “no lost time” means that employees have not suffered any injuries which may have resulted in time away from work. This count of 2,666 days spans 11-years in incident-free operations.

To mark the accomplishment, Director of Human Resources and Safety, Sheryl Shannon, distributed heavy-duty, winter coats and jackets to all shop workers, with the Sterling Dula logo embroidered on the left panel. Ms. Shannon, a member of senior management, is responsible for communicating Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines to personnel on a monthly basis, in addition to executing corporate-level human resources management duties.

Ms. Shannon said in a company statement today, “We have a great group of shop employees who have been with the company for many years, and take safety very seriously. All of us here at Kane Innovations appreciate their hard work, dedication and commitment to adhering to OSHA regulations. We applaud them today and every day for a job well done.”
