McKinley Technology High School

KANE SCREENS ARE A POPULAR CHOICE FOR HIGH SCHOOL WINDOW PROTECTION.

McKinley Technology High School was a brand new school back in the early-2000s.  During the design phase, the facility management team decided they wanted window protection that stood up to vandalism and forced entry without looking institutional.

McKinley chose our Operable Side Hinged Aluminum Van-Guard screens.  Not only were the screens nearly invisible against the building facade, they provided abundant daylighting to students and staff after the school doors officially opened.

The following Kane Screens products were used on this project:

  • (71) Operable Side Hinged Aluminum Van-Guard Screens with Life Safety Emergency Egress and 12 Mesh .028″ Diameter Stainless Steel Wire Cloth Infill
  • (31) Fixed Arch Top Protector Screens with 12-Mesh .028″ Diameter Stainless Steel Wire Cloth Infill
